The marriage ministry at FBC is designed to help couples all over the relational spectrum – premarried, newlyweds, new parents, empty nesters, and every couple in between! We believe the church should be the primary place where couples go to help prepare, start, and grow their marriage. Whether in seasons of strength or brokenness, we want to help couples grow in their love for the Lord and for each other.

Our church has many needs that are both ongoing and that pop up from time to time. If you flourish behind the scenes and enjoy operating in the background, we have opportunities around our campus every Thursday. We need skilled carpenters, people who can beautify our landscaping, and people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty.

We believe The Church is called to be innovators and creative thinkers to reach people for the Gospel in new ways. Our Creative Ministry seeks to do that through social media, graphic design, videos, photographs, story sharing, and fine art. We believe we mirror the heart of God when we are creative beings.

Scripture is clear that worship is much, much bigger than music. We believe worship starts with the individual. There is something powerful about a group of vastly different and unique people coming together to proclaim the same truths about God and to understand how to love Him more. We want to provide an atmosphere that is both spiritually stimulating and challenging for those that may be further along in their faith journey as well as one that is accepting and comfortable for the unchurched.

We want to provide an atmosphere that is both spiritually stimulating and challenging for those that may be further along in their faith journey as well as one that is accepting and comfortable for the unchurched. We don’t view our production team as just people who “press buttons,” but are people who help set the stage for our community to have an encounter with Jesus.

What if you didn’t have to go it alone? What if you shared your story with someone and they said, “I get that.” “I’ve been there.” “I’m with you.” What if women reminded other women that Jesus still redeems, rebuilds, restores lives? We think maybe, just maybe, a sisterhood would be born. A mighty force of women never having to stand alone. We seek to disciple, develop, and deploy women to love and follow Jesus Christ. We believe we are better together.

THE COLLECTIVE YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY
In our world today, it is far too common for college students and young adults to disengage from the church, if not fall away altogether. That’s why our primary goal as a college and young adult ministry is to help our people stay actively engaged with the local church during this critical time. We want to do everything we can to surround our college students and young adults with community, find ways for them to use the gifts God has given them, and equip them for lifelong growth in their walk with Jesus.

It is the Youth Ministry’s goal to create a ministry that helps middle school and high school students take ownership of their faith. What do students who own their faith look like? They are individuals who have an intimate relationship with God, a deep love for others, and a heart of service for the world around them. This happens when students see God’s activity in and around their lives, and they decide to participate with God in His activity. Our volunteers invest heavily in the lives of our teenagers and help them develop the tools to own their faith.

Kindergarteners through 6th graders are invited to join us on Sunday mornings as we help children navigate through Scripture and day-to-day life. Our kid’s worship service, Navigate, incorporates elements of both corporate worship and teaching as well as intentional time of relationship building in small groups with kids of the same age and gender. Each week’s stories and lessons relate back to three basic truths: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
